Pinewood is located along the bluffs of the Missouri River near Bismarck, North Dakota. From here, we overlook the
historic stretch of the river where Lewis & Clark wintered on their epic journey. It’s fitting then that our breed of choice is the Appaloosa, the horse that carried the Corps of Discovery over the mountains on their way to the west coast.

We specialize in dual-purpose horses equally comfortable on a rugged Badlands trail or in the show ring. Please enjoy your stay.
